Butler is a Hong Kong-based startup that provides accessible personalized home management services.

Studio Doozy partnered with Brandcraft on Butler’s upcoming platform, ButlerOS, to reimagine property management and bring to life a seamless and unique housekeeping experience for homeowners, tenants, property managers, and service providers.

User Flows

User flows are a great tool to map out the several paths the users can take when using the product. For ButlerOS, we created a wide range of flowcharts tailored to each role to better understand the unique needs of the stakeholders involved. User Flows were also used later on to define all the necessary screens and interactions needed for each one of the application features.

Wireframes

Wireframes are bare-bone representations of the information layout of an application or a website. With a simplified look, they are created to showcase the interface and navigational elements present on each screen and their main focus lies in evaluating and showcasing the functionality, behaviour and hierarchy of the content.

For ButlerOS, we developed several iterations of wireframes for both the frontend and backend. They served to communicate to the client and their development team how each feature, defined throughout the Flow Chart phase, would translate to screens.

High Fidelity Prototype

Throughout the development of ButlerOS, we created multiple prototypes that helped us test the interfaces and increase the usability of the platform. Prototypes, combine the layout of the wireframing stage with visually defined interface elements giving a close look at how the platform should look and feel when fully developed.

We also created an interactive high fidelity prototype accessible from the web for the client, that allowed them to showcase the product to stakeholders at an early stage, before investing in the full development of the platform.
